The stars are coming out at Brunston
19 June 2017
Whether you like to see stars on the golf course – or in the sky – we’ve got a wonderful summer lined up for you at Brunston.
Discover the wonders of Scotland’s dark skies
The skies above Brunston are officially recognised as some of the darkest in the UK, making them the perfect place to discover the planets and stars. Just 40 minutes from the resort, the Scottish Dark Sky Observatory sits on a fantastic hilltop site on the edge of the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park. As well as regular activities throughout the year, the observatory hosts events every Saturday night which include a talk, stargazing guide and telescope tour – before you stare through their powerful telescopes into the heavens. Session begins at 10.30pm and tickets are priced at adults £15.00, concessions £10.00. Find out more on their website below:

A Segway is a two-wheeled self-balancing electric vehicle that can handle all kinds of terrain and with low pressure tyres they have excellent grip, even in the wet. Don’t worry if you’ve never been on a Segway before, it’s easy, exciting and you’ll get full training.
