A nod to nature

As well as the vaulted ceilings and skylights, each of these lodges is beautifully finished, with earthy tones and smooth metallic detailing to create a modern but relaxed space that’s perfect for entertaining. Designed by Simon Bray, Apex draws on a number of influences and weaves them throughout the interiors.

The glorious coastline of Carmarthenshire was the initial inspiration for Apex’s interiors. From deep shades of teal and pastel beach-hut blue to warm whites and a series of earthy grey tones, the colours echo the ever-changing pallete that washes over Laugharne from the estuary below and the huge southern skies above.

It’s all in the detail

To add to the rustic seaside atmosphere, the wood finishes on the furniture are rugged and enhance the timeless appeal of the properties. The fabrics have been chosen to embellish the larger scheme with nods to well-loved coastal symbols. The striped blinds that hint at deckchairs on a secluded beach are our favourites!

It’s not just the stylistic choices that make Apex so homely, though. The lodge is fully fitted with all the essentials like a five-burner gas hob, eye-level oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave. But we didn’t stop there. There’s also a dishwasher, dual washer/dryer and wine cooler, as well as Samsung TVs, so you can enjoy all the comforts of home, with stunning views over the Taf Estuary and access to our state of the art facilities.
