From the Lake District to Cornwall: top things to see and do this Christmas
Wherever you choose to spend the festive season, you’ll find plenty to see and do at all of our resorts. Whether you’re planning a coastal Christmas break or a weekend roaming the frosty Lakes, we’ve put together a list of some of our favourite activities and attractions to enjoy with that special someone, or with the little ones in tow.
One of the country’s most magical regions comes alive with glistening lights and festive markets. Head to the coast and discover quaint seaside towns transformed into winter wonderlands, illuminated tropical gardens, and the UK’s longest underground tunnel filled with thousands of lights.

Whether you’re joining us for the Christmas weekend or at any point throughout December, you’ll never be short of something to do, both with the little ones and without. Almost every town in the area has its own traditions and events, but if you’re looking for something a little more active, why not head over to Tenby for a Boxing Day dip in the sea?

- Christmas Food and Craft Fayres at The National Botanic Garden of Wales
- Dry ski slope at Pembrey Country Park
Celebrate the season in the Lakes and discover everything from cosy country houses to icy high-force waterfalls. Each town also hosts its own markets, fayres and activities, with plenty of enchanting Victorian and Dickensian events to immerse yourself in the festive spirit.
