Whitbarrow is a fantastic venue with excellent accommodation and facilities that provides an amazing northern lakes location from which to explore the magnificent surroundings in relaxed tranquility. I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. It is quiet and relaxed, ideal for just winding down. It's on the edge of the north-east Lakes and has great views of Blencathra and the surrounding fells and is in very easy reach of Keswick, Ullswater and the whole of the northern Lakes. There's plenty of opportunity to explore the area and undertake some great walks; in March it is actually possible to walk all day and not see more than the occasional person. I've been a few times now and really enjoy the whole experience. I can't wait to go back
