What’s in store in 2020

It’s been a busy year for us here at Luxury Lodges. We’ve expanded our portfolio to include new properties, refurbished some of our existing lodges, and completely transformed the facilities at Clowance. And although 2019 has been an exciting year for us, 2020 is set to be one of our most memorable to date.

Here’s a reminder of what we’ve been up to over the last 12 months as well as a rundown of what’s in store in 2020.

In 2019…

We launched new properties

Earlier this year, we added the Coach Houses at Clowance to our portfolio. These brand new two bedroom properties feature striking architecture, beautiful interiors, and shared access to two outdoor hot tubs. With large ornate windows, a mezzanine bedroom, and an original bell tower, they not only have heaps of character but are now some of our most luxurious properties to date.

But that’s not all. We also introduced a new family-friendly property to Whitbarrow: The Den. With a nature-themed children’s bedroom complete with a private den filled with books, toys, a LEGO wall and a blackboard, it’s the perfect retreat for families large and small.

We renovated some of our existing lodges

Our Troutbeck lodges at Whitbarrow and St Ives Lodges at Clowance are amongst the most popular in our portfolio. And with several of these lodges being refurbished throughout 2019, there are now even more available for our guests to enjoy.

And we transformed our facilities

At Burn Coastal Retreat, we added brand new treatment rooms so guests can now make the most of our fabulous indoor pool, hot tub steam room and sauna before indulging in a range of spa treatments.

But perhaps the biggest change of the year happened at Clowance where we transformed our cafe bar with a new look and feel, launched brand new menus, and gave our entire pool area a stunning makeover. You can find out more about the recent transformation here.

In 2020…

We’ll be launching our brand new resort at Laugharne

You may have already heard about our new luxury resort in Carmarthenshire, and 2020 will be the year that you can experience Laugharne for yourself.

Laugharne is set to be our new flagship resort, and it’s where you’ll find stunning properties with unbeatable views, world-class spa facilities, and a new panoramic bar and restaurant.
